First night

The room is moonlit at least when he enters and whilst holding the flagging little girl, he finds the switch and turns on the main light. He was not lying about the bedroom, the huge windows that look out over the garden and down to the sea. The iron bed head sits there and new mattress atop, all unpacked and the under sheets are wrapped tightly with hospital corners and look so crisp and white. laying his little girl down on the bed, he quickly finds the other sheets and comforters, pulling on covers and placing pillows on the bed, two to her sides and one under her head.."Laura darling- how are you feeling?" he wonders if they have night clothes but he knows none will fit her. he finds an old tshirt that will do as a nightie and slips off the over sized jumper- noticing how little and flat she is now and replaces it with shirt, removes her big girl panties, he leaves the socks on but pulls them up to the knees and over to keep her warm.. "you too sleepy to talk?" he says as he smooth's the bed clothes about her, she looks so tiny in the huge bed..

He strips off and moves quickly, his clothing dropped, turning off the light he slips into bed naked, he supposes in decency he should keep his boxers on with a child in here, but in a way he does want to..

Laura feels warm and secure in Nicholas's arms. While it's weird to find oneself suddenly small and little and vulnerable, there is also something very magical about feeling safe and cared for. She is so small and tiny! It almost makes her sad to remember how wonderful this felt!

He lowers her on the bed and she instinctively reaches out and finds the pillow, which she draws in and cuddles with like it was her favorite stuffie. She hears his voice speaking to her and she sighs, "Uncle Nicky, I'm sooooooo tired!" she complains, grasping the pillow against herself tightly. She feels him undress her and feels no compunction at exposing her hairless skin and slender waist to him. Instead, she snuggles up to him, murmuring incoherently as he dresses her in make-shift PJs and tucks her in. She is far off to the Land of Nod as she feels him crawl into bed. She pulls her young body tightly up against him and drifts off into blissful sleep.

he slips in close and is surprised at how quickly the bed warms up, after all it has been unheated for a long time before they arrived and so the warmth that slowly fills the covers and helps his aching muscles relax as he drifts off, his head pressed close to Laura he can hear the mumbling and it soothes him too. A big arm wrapped about her he pulls her close for nothing more than warmth and security.

The night passes, the place dark and so remote that only the moonlight through the windows gives any illumination. He dreams of the new house, its possibilities and opportunities. the thoughts of rooms here, their mysteries unlocked and the ability to create anything their minds can conspire to conceive.. rooms for play, rooms for punishment, rooms for dress up and make believe..

the light pokes through early, the lack of curtains means that the birds and the dawn are the first real interruption to sleep. laying on his side he finds himself with a face full of dark hair as Laura nestles still wrapped under is thick arm.

Feeling Daddy stir causes Laura to wake up. She's initially disoriented and unsure of where she is. And, for that matter, who she is. Her body feels strange and she realizes that it is her diminutive size. And the weird sense that all of the bumps and curves that she was just getting used to have suddenly and completely disappeared. For all of her fears and apprehensions about her changing body, suddenly changing back reminds her of what she is missing (and of how, when she was little, she longed to grow up).

But lying in Daddy's big arms gives her an entirely different feeling -- a warm safe sensation. His arms are soooo big and she really does feel that absolutely nothing can go wrong right now. She remembers that feeling. Even after Mom died, she could always find happiness when her father was home and welcomes her into bed in the morning. And while she never had such feelings directly for her father, she recognizes how sexual those feelings are for her now.

This is Nicholas! she reminds herself. Wanting him is OK! She burrow into his chest.

"Daddy? Daddy? Are you awake?" she whispers softly.

the dreams are slow to release him this morning, the hard work and peacefulness of the house mean that he can slumber deeper than normal and so as he lies there he can feel a wriggling, like a giant bundle of livelyness in his arms, moving and turning as it seems to be not struggling to escape but to get closer, pushing into his arms and chest as is trying to occupy the same space as him. he sleepily opens one eye as the mush and crusty layer lets him, a little voice, like a tiny fairy or pixie is calling him daddy.

What might have been questioned on any other day or later hour, he just accepts with no inspection. "yes, sweetie, its early... do you need the bathroom?" he sees first a mess of long hair, tousled and unkempt from tossing and turning all night then one eyes seems to emerge from it and then a cherubic face.

He smiles ."hey sweetie.. no I am sound asleep.." he says chuckling and faking a snore

Laura sense Nicholas moving, but SO slowly! His lumbering body tickles her though and she giggles. He asks if she needs to go potty and she shakes her head emphatically, enjoying the basic nature of the thought. Using the toilet has barely occupied her mind in a decade (aside from babysitting small children) but being asked such a question now gives her a sense of security -- she doesn't even have to worry about a basic biological function. "Nope! I'm fine!"

She giggles as he does the papa bear snore for her. "Daddy! Daddy! Wake up! I'm boooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrred!"

He smiles even as he acts the sleeping father and opens one eye, looking at her pretty face as she stares at him, its the look of total devotion and adoration, one of dependency. "you are bored and so you thought that I should be awake too, so we can do something together.." he squeezes her tightly feeling her wriggle, fingers finding the ticklish spot on her side and pressing there. "perhaps it isn't daddy you woke up...." his voice a deep growl now "but the tickle monster!"

The covers are a tangle and he struggles to rise over her, his fingers pressed to that spot under the ribs, knowing she does not need to pee, he can take all out control and tickle her with no accident in the bed.
